Edison Elementary
No projects are proposed for Edison Elementary.
If approved by voters, the 2023 bond proposal will create additional space at other GISD campuses so that the district can decommission Edison Elementary.
New Grade Configuration
This plan allows Gainesville ISD to realign grade levels to reduce student transitions, provide more continuity for students and staff, reduce the number of parent drop-offs, and improve curriculum alignment.
*GISD Master Plan includes converting Admin Building to Center for Early Learning. This project is not included in the 2023 bond and alternate funding will be used to complete this project.
